Obama – 50.7%  +7.1%

McCain – 43.6%

Electoral College

Obama – 351.0

McCain – 187.3

Today’s update has very few changes from yesterday.  This model will react slowly to actual changes in the electorate, as it is two degrees away from the actual polls.  All four polls for the popular vote show Obama at or above 50%.  This is important because, if he holds 50%+, McCain (obviously) cannot catch Obama in the popular vote.  Open Left dropped Ohio as leaning Obama in the Electoral College.

Drudge made a big deal yesterday about polls tightening.  This is not showing up in the Poll of “Poll of Polls”.  None of the popular vote polls showed much tightening.
